Walsall Game On! Saturday 17th September

Posted on June 23rd, 2011 by Carrie

Wacky games and fun for all will be the order of the day when Walsall Disability Forum hosts ‘Game On!’ at Alumwell Business and Enterprise College on Saturday, September 17.

The highlight of the fun, family day will be an ‘It’s A Knockout’ style sporting challenge for teams of people with disabilities, each representing an Olympic country.

And there will be lots of other free attractions for everyone to enjoy, from face painting and bouncy castles to interactive health displays.

The event, running from 11am-3pm, aims to promote better understanding of people with disabilities, to show they are skilled and able to have fun.

A team can be from five to 10 people.

If you would like to find out more, please call Kim Fuller (Community Arts Development Officer, Walsall Council) 01922 653114.
